🔧 Rates & Additional Information

💰 Minimum Charge

Our minimum charge is based on one hour. We recommend customers consider any additional tasks that may need attention during our visit, helping you make the best use of time and maximise value.

 

⏰ Out of Hours Work

Out of hours attendance (17:30 – 08:00 Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday) is charged at a 25% premium on our standard rates.

 

📋 Quotations & Estimates

If you would like an estimate of how long your job may take, please feel free to ask.

We do not offer free in-person quotations. Where a site visit is required, our standard hourly rate will apply.

For most jobs, we can assess the work using photos or video sent via email or Business WhatsApp (01273 950052).

 

🧱 Materials

Materials are charged in addition to labour.

We carry a range of standard consumables, including:

• Screws and fixings

• Rawlplugs

• Standard faceplates and sockets

• Basic cabling

• Sandpaper and small items

 

Where specific materials are required, we recommend supplying them ourselves to ensure the correct items are sourced and available on the day.

Materials supplied by us are charged at cost + 25%, which covers sourcing time and includes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you prefer to supply materials, please let us know in advance and ensure they are available prior to the appointment to avoid delays.

 

🏠 Larger Projects

For larger works, such as kitchen or bathroom refurbishments, we will provide a detailed quotation following a site survey.

 

👷 Day Rate

Our handyman day rate is £295 for 7 hours (one handyman).

Where the total hourly cost reaches this amount, you will not be charged more for that day (up to 7 hours).

If your project requires additional labour, a second person is charged at £220 per day per person.

 

🚗 Parking

We do not charge for parking within Brighton and Hove.

Outside this area, we kindly ask that a parking permit is provided where restrictions apply.

 

⚠️ Access & Missed Appointments

If we are unable to gain access during an agreed appointment window, a missed appointment fee may be applied to cover time and travel costs.

 

♻️ Waste Removal

We are not licensed to carry waste directly.

However, we work with a licensed third-party waste carrier and can arrange removal where required. Charges depend on the type and volume of waste but are typically competitive.

Please let us know in advance if waste removal is needed.
